Lucozade Energy is all about unlocking the potential of people’s positive energy.

Originally launched in 1927 by chemist, William Hunter, ‘Glucozade’ as it was known back then, was used to replace lost energy through sickness. The drink was the first to combine great taste with glucose and was used extensively throughout hospital wards and pharmacies in the years that followed.

Since its launch in 1990, Lucozade Sport is an ‘isotonic’ sports drink, providing carbohydrates and electrolytes that keep people hydrated and help maintain performance during exercise.

The brand exists today to bring people together through the power of sport.
