An unbelievable amount of € 5,025.98 was collected through the donated Christmas vouchers at Suntory Beverage & Food Europe, Export & Commercial Markets (SBF EECM) - Benelux. The cause this money is going to is “The Ocean Cleanup.”

Imagine the year 2030; the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is history and our brands you buy in the supermarket are packaged 100% sustainable. This is our Suntory commitment and we are working hard to make this the reality. 100% sustainable packaging means there is no reason for irresponsible disposal into landfill or natural environments, our packaging will not be considered waste but a valuable resource.
The damage that has already been done to our ecosystem - by non-recycled plastic packaging ending in the world’s oceans - is what The Ocean Cleanup is tackling. Their aim is to clean up 90% of the floating ocean plastic pollution.
Neither target is an easy one to reach, and both need a mindset of never giving up. While we work on our targets, we are very grateful that we can support The Ocean Cleanup’s target with your generous donations.
