Spring officially begins on March 20th, 2021. After the darkness of winter, the first signs of spring bring joy and fresh hope for the new season. After a challenging and uncertain winter season never has spring been more welcome. While outdoor activities may still be temporarily limited due to the pandemic, there are still ways to enjoy this year's spring weather and activities. As recognition and thanks to all our employees for their support over the last months, for going the “extra mile” and for always demonstrating our values of Generosity and Humble Determination, we are excited to share the return of our SBFE (Re)Connect Day on Monday 22nd March 2021. We celebrated our first (Re)Connect Day on the 23rd of October 2020. The (Re)Connect Day is an extra day off offered to all our employees across Europe to enjoy a long weekend to take some well-earned rest.

These last months have been very challenging for all of us. We also recognise that the new norm has blurred lines between work and home, and we need time to reconnect with our friends and families as well as have some time to ourselves. With this symbolic action we want to reinforce our continued commitment to look after our people and the importance of wellbeing.
